Here is Her Story
This project of sharing my inner workings started in 2015. I was inspired by the current train of chaos I had been riding. It was full force de-railing and working on creative projects was a much needed outlet. On April 6th, I was in between Washington barrel futurities, staying at a very blessed place. I was drowning in a sea of sadness and my horses, traveling, and good friends were the only things keeping me afloat. After dinner, I was finishing up this very section when I got the awaited call I had been dreading....
Tj's been shot....he didn't make it.
There are no words to express what it feels like when the love of your life crosses over. No matter how much time I had to prepare or how solid my faith in life after death was, the grief was shattering. This intimate experience with death has catapulted me even further into my journey to ultimate self-actualization and healing.
The open road had become a familiar companion over the last couple years as I competed, studied with spiritual teachers, and checked things off my bucket list. No matter where I ended up, though, it was only a matter of time before I returned to wherever my man was. When he was diagnosed with cancer, in September of 2014, we picked up everything to undergo treatments at The Huntsman in Salt Lake City, UT. He was my rock and had a way of grounding my wanderlust, flighty soul. They say home is where the heart is...and Tj has had my heart from day one. We were in the middle of trying to find a new place to settle when he passed. Shortly after he left the planet, the open road became my home as I began to pick up the pieces of the last seven years of our life and muster every ounce of strength I had to start a new chapter...alone.
There were lots of twists and turns and ups and downs! But not long after and very long after (all at the same time), something I thought was impossible happened...I met the other man of my dreams and fell madly in love...again! All of the lessons I had learned with Tj allowed me to truly love and appreciate the amazingness of this second love, Jack. His presence parted the storm clouds and the sun began to shine in my life again. He is everything I needed and more. And not long after the wild adventure of Kim and Jack began, a surprise began to brew. Two turned into three, as our sweet, fiery Hendrixx decided to join to the party.
As I look back at my journey, I realize that my life has provided me with opportunity after opportunity to look darkness square in the face, as it threatened to consume me. And I've chose to keep shining through it. From addiction to spiritual awakening, from broke to successfully self-employed, from happily ever-after to falling apart, from health to disease, from not wanting to wake up to loving life again. As I look back at my life, black and white pictures emerge. The polarity is staggering. But life is like a camera and contrast creates the focus that captures beautiful images. You cannot experience happiness without sadness, light without dark, good without bad, success without failure. Anyone who has accomplished anything significant will confirm this. Growth takes place when we stretch past the limits of what appears to be holding us in place. Our power lies in choosing what we want to experience and how long we want to experience it for.
My intention for sharing my journey with you is to keep spreading some of the pearls of wisdom that I have been blessed to receive from other teachers, mentors, and everyday heroes on a wide range of teachings. Maybe I can help ease your burden, the way so many others have helped to ease mine. It's also to become comfortable with self-expression and sharing the gift of who life has caused me to be. A Little More About Kim
Kim is a 31 year old dreadhead, hippie, cowgirl with an entrepreneurial spirit that loves to go on adventures and spread good vibes. She uses a wide range of tools gathered over many years of study to guide others towards finding the solutions to their problems.
Kim grew up in a small, southeastern Idaho town with her family and always had a passion for writing, learning, and teaching others. At the age of 13, her long awaited wish of having a horse, was granted. It was true love! She started competing in rodeo events shortly after and a passion for it ensued, along with training horses. However, it wasn't enough to keep her wild spirit out of trouble, although it helped. By the time she was 19, Kim had fallen into the deep throws of addiction. Attempts at rehab failed...until she met and fell in love with Tj. His love for her was a new found inspiration to have a happy life and she allowed him to take her hand and heart, and lead her out of the darkness. A task only a soul as strong as his, could have accomplished. New-found love re-awakened her desire to rodeo and get an education.
Kim returned to school and received her B.S. in Psychology from Idaho State University, in which she focused on the topics of behaviorism, evolution, clinical psychology, addiction, and inmate populations. She also competed in team roping, breakaway, and barrel racing for the Rocky Mountain Region. She won the region in barrels her junior and senior year, thanks to two incredible horses, Dreamer (GoGo Casino) and Vegas (Dashing Misty Isle).
Kim has always had a desire to help some of societies biggest under-dogs. Yet, the more she dived into traditional methods of psychology, the more she felt something was missing that she needed to truly help people. Instead of going back for her PhD in clinical pscyhology, as planned, she dived deeper into quantum physics, the study of consciousness, belief transformation, and spirituality. While going to school, she had started an eyelash extension business which she maintained for 8 years, which gave her an appreciation for helping women feel more confident and beautiful from the inside, out.
In 2015, Kim partnered with a highly scientific, innovative, anti-aging company that offers a wide variety of products to help people look AND feel their best. It also devotes a big chunk of its efforts to ending world hunger and third world sustainability efforts, which she's very passionate about. This opportunity has provided her the freedom to work from anywhere and the residual income has kept her afloat more than once, when she was unable to work. It's also part of the reason her presence shines so bright after everything she's been through.
In 2016, Kim met Jack at a rodeo in Bonner's Ferry. ID. He offered her a place to stay for a week and she never left. Some things are just meant to be.
Recently, Kim has fully retired from eyelash extensions and microblading in order to better develop her gifts of healing. She still has a passion for sharing powerful products with her tribe and enjoys connecting with people via social media. She currently resides at one of her sacred spaces in either Arizona or Washington with Jack, Hendrixx, her pitbull bestie Dozer, and an ever-fluctuating herd of magical horses. She also enjoys training barrel horses, team roping, and watching Jack head at the rodeos. She's recently started a breeding program. In her rare spare time she loves to go on healing retreats, hike in the mountains, and be around water. Nature and music speak to her soul. If you like the feel she brings, make sure to subscribe!
