Neo’s a 16 year old gelding that scores like a rock, blows hard and handles cattle effortlessly. He could be a great step up horse for a handy youth or just a fun mount for an older more experienced roper. He is super broke and very responsive. He is gentle but alot of horse. He can get strong if he gets fresh or if you don’t make him rate the steer and slow down on the corner. He loves to go FAST! You won’t have to worry about getting outrun on this one. He is also great in the box and easy to be around. Easy on the eyes and good with other horses. No bad habits or vices.
He does require maintenance and a better than average farrier so if any of that bothers you, he’s not the one for you. But if you don’t mind a little extra TLC to have a horse that you can always count on giving you an honest and fair shot to compete to the best of your ability, he might be your guy!
The very thought of letting this one go is gut-wrenching but I’ve decided to focus more on breakaway, barrels, and the youngsters I’ve got coming up. I just can’t stand to watch a horse this nice go to waste. I have no doubt he can help the right person reach the success they desire. He deserves to be someone’s #1.
